Spreading the Word
As part of the NIDCD National Temporal Bone Registry's goal to
educate the public about temporal bone donation and research, the Registry publishes and
distributes:
1)
brochures
about temporal bone donation
and research for distribution to potential donors, clinics and
organizations,
2) a semi-annual newsletter, called The REGISTRY which is distributed to
both the general public and the scientific community,
3)
articles
about temporal bone donation and/or research
which the Registry has published
4)
scientific articles which describe the Registry's tasks and progress
or other topics related to the mission(s) of the Registry,
5)
temporal
bone lab publications relating to human temporal bone
studies.
In addition, each temporal bone laboratory in the United
States has their own schedule of publications. These publications include research
articles which have resulted from studies of human temporal bones as well as miscellaneous
other articles. Below is a list of the literature published by the Registry and by the
temporal bone laboratories. These publications are available to the public (see
Obtaining Reprints of Publications below).
OBTAINING
REPRINTS OF PUBLICATIONS
The above listed newsletters,
scientific articles and brochures may be
obtained from the Registry. Reprints of research publications must be obtained from the
temporal bone laboratory listed next to each reference.
To request reprints from the Registry,
contact the Registry by phone, fax, TDD, email,
the
electronic form or by US mail. Forms for manual faxing may be printed out from the
